Metros hope for fireworks a day early at Ezell Park

The Metros will hope to get their first win in July when the Bradenton Academics who are top on the Southeastern division travel to Nashville. The Metros recently returned from a tough road trip where they tied the New Orleans Jesters 1-1, when Dustin Dawes crushed in a free kick for his seconded goal of the season. Two days later the Metros were defeated by the Mississippi Brilla 0-4.

NASHVILLE – The Nashville Metros squared off Saturday night against the Atlanta Blackhawks, a team whom they beat 3-2 earlier in the season. 
 
The Metros started the game well as they held much of the possession. Anchored by the solid midfield play of Mark Photivihok and the forward runs of Scott Davidson, the Metros created several scoring opportunities.
