Nashville Metros and Fort Lauderdale Schultz Academy played to a 1-1 tie

The Nashville Metros and Fort Lauderdale Schultz Academy played to a 1-1 tie in a hard fought, very physical game. There were 3 yellow warning cards given out in the contest. The winning goal never came but there was never a shortage of action with the cross bar being struck several times. The scoring came early from both teams with the Fort Lauderdale striking first in the 6th minute with a lazer header by (5) Alex, Trujillo with a great passing asisst by (6) Manuel Gonzalez but it didn't take long for the Metros to respond, The Metros struck back in the 11th minute when (18) Jonathon Jackson showed some nice moves and sent a strike to the right corner, past the keeper (99) Gion Di Boscio. The assist came from (10) Fransico Marciel. With that the score stood 1-1. There were a few more chances that just didn't go for either team. The best chance came from (6)Manuel, Gonzalez of Fort Lauderdale when he took a free kick from the top of the box and sent a screaming shot off the top of the cross bar and with that the first half came to an end at 1-1. There was also one yellow card given in the first half to Fort Lauderdale (26) William Suedois for tripping in the 44th minute.
The second half didn't have the scoring that the first half had but the physical play still remained as there were two more yellow cards given. Both cards went to Metros players, the first going to (18) Jonathon Jackson in the 70th minute and the second going to (12) Nicohals Dykes in the 77th minute. Both teams did have good chances to score in the 53rd minute (11) Alec Lowell took a pass off a corner kick and sailed it to the left corner but a nice one handed save made by keeper (2) Jordan Warner kept the score at 1-1. The metros had their best shot in the second half coming from (3) Pacome Beh in the 62nd minute when he took a pass and headed it just wide of the open net. The remaining of the game was played to a tie giving the Nashville Metros a record of 3-5-3 and needing a win.

Nashville Metros 0 vs. Baton Rouge Capitals 1
The Nashville Metros took on the Baton Rouge Capitals on a very hot July, Sat evening. Unfortunately for the Metros, the hard fought contest resulted in a 1-0 loss. The first half was played very tough by both teams. Shots were hard to come by for both teams in the first half.

Big Win for Metros 4 - 1 vs League Leading Florida Kraze
In the beautiful Citrus Bowl, the Nashville Metros came out very motivated and brought home 3 points from the undefeated Central Florida Kraze with a very dominating score of 4 1.

The New Orleans Jesters downed the Nashville Metros 2-0 in a hard fought game Sunday night at Ezell Harding Stadium, the game begin with a flurry of shot from the Metros but they could not break through to score with a few nice saves from (13) Tarbell, Andrew of the Jesters to lockdown the goal.
